In order to put it in drive it had to be in neutral. Who leaves a running car in neutral. W T F? At least I'm not aware of an automatic that doesn't require the brake to be on to get out of park or a button to be pushed on the shifter. However if the vehicle is in neutral getting in to drive is no problem.

But that's what you get you don't double clutch like you should.
